Welcome to Staxx – A high energy, fun filled functions band from London and the South Coast of England.
Formed in 2005, they quickly established themselves as a popular name amongst event organisers. Equally at home playing funk, rock, reggae or soul, Staxx bring five decades of dancefloor fillers to life with exhilarating performances and impeccable musicianship.

Schattenspieler themselves describe their sound as Darkrock. Once grim and dark, then suddenly melancholic and soft keyboards decorate the sound, as well as hard riffs from lead, rhythm and bass guitar. Although certain influences from several mainstream gothic, rock or metal bands like Nightwish, Rammstein, Paradise Lost, HIM or Megahertz could be found if so wanted, Schattenspieler never tried to even look in that direction. |
